Strong Peak™ Ingredients: All Nine, Explained
Nine named ingredients and the facts the label leaves out.
Quick answer
Strong Peak names nine ingredients: L-citrulline, L-carnitine, Panax ginseng, maca root, rhodiola, grape seed extract, zinc, vitamin B3 and vitamin B6. The materials we reviewed do not publish the amount of any of them.
1. L-Citrulline
An amino acid the body turns into arginine and, from there, nitric oxide. Read our explainer. Ask a pharmacist first if you take blood pressure, nitrate or ED medicine.
2. L-Carnitine
Helps move fatty acids into cells for energy. Studies on supplemental carnitine are mixed. See the forms and what they do.
3. Panax Ginseng
A traditional root extract. The NCCIH page on Asian ginseng summarizes research and cautions, including possible medicine interactions.
4. Maca Root
A Peruvian root sold for energy and stamina. Human studies are small, so claims should be read modestly. More on maca.
5. Rhodiola
Used traditionally for stress and tiredness. See the NCCIH page on rhodiola.
6. Grape Seed Extract
A polyphenol-rich plant extract. The NCCIH page on grape seed extract lists cautions, including with blood thinners.
7. Zinc
An essential mineral with a daily upper limit listed in the NIH zinc fact sheet. Stacking several zinc products can exceed it.
8. Vitamin B3 (niacin)
Supports energy metabolism. High supplemental doses can cause flushing; see the NIH niacin fact sheet.
9. Vitamin B6
Supports normal metabolism and nerve function. Very high long-term intakes can affect nerves; see the NIH vitamin B6 fact sheet.
